Tables by Design

The third annual "Tables by Design" will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Elms Resort Hotel to help raise funds to support Good Samaritan Center's afterschool tutoring program called "Kids Club". We truly believe this program is a great benefit for our community and we are struggling to meet the $10,000 annual cost of this program. For a donation, the public will be able to tour beautifully designed tables from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. |

Dinner seating will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the meal being served at 7 p.m. Music will be provided while guests are being seated and entertainment will begin once the desserts have been served. Tortoise and Hare Walk/Run/Roll For Hunger
The Good Samaritan Center holds it's annual 5K Tortoise and Hare Walk/Roll/Run in April each year, starting at 7 a.m. from the Elms Hotel parking lot. Join our community for a fun-filled weekend and a good cause. Proceeds from the event are used to stock the Center's food pantry.
The Walk/Run/Roll is held in conjunction with the Alan Shawn Feinstein $1 million giveaway challenge. What ever you donate to Good Samaritan Center between March 1 and April 30 will be added to from the most successful campaign of all time to fight hunger in our communities.
Sponsorships available. Your donation may also be eligible for a federal tax deduction.
Spring Scramble

The Good Samaritan Center holds it's annual Golf Tournament on the second Friday in May. The tournament is held at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course and benefits Good Samaritan Center programs. Last year cash prizes totaling $1,500 were divided among top three teams in each flight, plus golfers enjoyed lunch, beverages, games and contests, and entry into SKINS POT, plus great Hole-in-One prizes including a new car compliments of Westfall-O'Dell GMC.
