Tables by Design
Tables by Design is held each fall to help fund children's programs supported by the Good Samaritan Center. The 5th annual event is scheduled for September 18 at the Montgomery Venue.
Entertainment will be provided by Jane Hoffman and Molly Hammer. Van Till Winery will provide wine tasting.

Tortoise and Hare Walk/Run/Roll For Hunger
The Good Samaritan Center holds an annual 5K Tortoise and Hare Walk/Roll/Run on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from the Elms Hotel parking lot. This year, GSC is partnering with Anytime Fitness to bring "The Color Run" to Excelsior Springs! The event is a unique experience focused less on speed and more on crazy color fun with friends and family. Runners/walkers begin at the start line in a white shirt and each kilometer of the event, they are blitzed by our volunteers, sponsors and staff with color. In conjunction, Alan Shawn Feinstein will be giving away $1 million to anti-hunger agencies throughout the country. All monetary and food donations you donate to Good Samaritan Center between March 1 and April 30 will be added to from the most successful campaign of all time to fight hunger in our communities. $1 million will be divided in full, proportionately among the participating non-profits. GSC has several ways an individual, organization or business can participate in the challenge. You may donate food to our pantry. ($1 value is placed on each item donated) or you may give a monetary gift. The more donations this event raises, the more of the Feinstein challenge money we will get!
Spring Scramble

The 21st Annual Spring Scramble will be held at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course on Friday, May 10, 2013. The 4-man scramble will begin at 12 p.m. with lunch served, followed by a 1 p.m. Shotgun start. Cash prizes of more than $2,000 will be divided among top 4 teams in each flight. $125 per player entry fee includes green and cart fees, lunch, beverages, games and contests, and entry in "Skins Pot." Great hole-in-one prizes includes a new car compliments of Westfall O'Dell GMC. Proceeds will fund GSC programs.
