20th Annual Spring Scramble
Raises $40,000
"Thanks to our sponsors, prize donors, players and volunteers, the 20th Annual Spring Scramble was the Good Samaritan's best to-date," said Anna Hayes, incoming Executive Director. "Preliminary estimates indicate the Center raised approximately $40,000, which is approximately one-tenth of the Center's annual $400,000 plus budget."
Proceeds from the tournament benefit Center emergency assistance services. In 2011, the Good Samaritan Center assisted 5,061 individuals in 1,624 families. Children comprise 35.4% of all individuals served.
