The following classes and programs are currently available at the Good Samaritan Center building:

Clay County Health


Walk-in well-clinic visits the fourth Tuesday of each month; 1 to 4 p.m., Room 124.

GED Classes

The Good Samaritan Center is now offering GED classes through the North Kansas City School District. Current hours are Monday and Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, Room 122. Enter via the ramp at the back of the building. There is no charge, and no appointment is necessary; anyone interested in participating may just show up.

Northland Dependency

Appointments only. First and third Monday each month, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Room 123.

Senior Exercise Program

Stay Strong/Stay Healthy classes offered Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 to 10 a.m., in the Great Hall. Free, offered through MU Extension Services.

Clay County Senior Services, the University of Missouri Extension and the Good Samaritan Center of Excelsior Springs have joined forces to provide area seniors (and not-quite-seniors) with a program that promises to make participants healthier.

Silver Sneakers meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 to 11 a.m.

WIC Program

Meets the 2nd Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Room 124. Appointments only (initial sign-up is done in Liberty).

Weight Watchers Program

Meets weekly on Tuesday. Walk-ins welcome. Weigh-in at 5 p.m.; meeting 7 p.m.; Great Hall.
